Fable Fintech's Privacy Policy

Fable Fintech Pvt. Ltd. is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of Personal Information about its employees, customers, business partners and other identifiable individuals. Fable policies, guidelines and actions support this commitment to protecting Personal Information. Each employee bears a personal responsibility for complying with this policy in the fulfillment of their responsibilities at Fable.

Scope

The scope of this Policy includes all business units of Fable Fintech Pvt. Ltd. hereafter referred to as Fable. This policy covers all of Fable information, systems, networks, and other information assets to ensure adequate controls are in place to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data. These critical assets must be managed and controlled to protect our company from loss due to misuse, disclosure, fraud, or destruction. It also covers all the contractors, vendors, agents or authorized representatives of Fable or its partners.


Applicable Audience

This Policy applies to all colleagues, contractors, and vendors of Fable. The term "colleague" refers to all full-time employees, part-time employees, temporary employees, and interns who provide services to Fable. The term “contractor” refers to any individual on another company’s Payroll (contactors, outsourcers, consultants, contingent workers, temporary agency workers, etc.) who provides services to Fable. The term “vendor” refers to all other third parties with which Fable does business with. 


Compliance & Enforcement

Compliance with this Policy is mandatory. Potential violations of this policy are subject to review and investigation by Fable and/or its agents. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary actions, up to and including removal of assignment, end of contract for vendors, or termination. Fable reserves the right to refer for prosecution in case of any violations of this policy. This Policy supersedes and replaces all previous policies relating to its subject matter. Fable reserves the right to modify the Policy at its sole discretion at any time with the intent to review on an annual basis. 

Policy

1 Privacy Policy 

Fable respects the privacy of its employees, customers, business partners, vendors, service providers, suppliers, former employees and candidates for employment and recognizes the need for appropriate protection and management of personal information. Fable is guided by the following principles in processing personal information: 

1.1.1 Notice: When collecting personal information directly from individuals, Fable strives to provide clear and appropriate notice about the: • Purposes for which it collects and uses their personal information. • Types of non-agent third parties to which Fable may disclose that information, and • Choices and means, if any, Fable offers individuals for limiting the use and disclosure of their personal information. 

1.1.2 Choice: Generally, Fable offers individuals a choice regarding how we process personal information, including the opportunity to choose to opt-out of further processing or, in certain circumstances, to opt-in. However, explicit consent from individuals is not required when processing personal information for: • Purposes consistent with the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individual. • Purposes necessary to carry out a transaction relationship. • Purposes necessary to comply with legal requirements. 

1.1.3 Security: Fable takes reasonable and appropriate measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into due account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the personal information. 

1.1.4 Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation: Fable will only process personal information in a way that is compatible with the purpose for which it has been collected or subsequently authorized by the individual. Fable shall take steps to help ensure that personal information is accurate, reliable, current and relevant to its intended use. 

1.1.5 Access: Fable provides individuals with reasonable access to their personal information for purposes of correcting, amending or deleting that information where it is inaccurate or has been processed in violation of the Fable data privacy principles. 1.1.6 Recourse, Enforcement and Liability: Violation of this policy by an employee or contractor of Fable will result in appropriate discipline up to and including termination.


2-Information Treatment

Based on the requirement, we may collect the following information, which may include non-public personal information. 2.1.1 Information that you provide us in the course of using the Service, such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number. We may also collect certain sensitive information from you including your bank account number, date of birth and social security number. 

2.1.2 Information that you provide us in the course of your participating in various partner promotional programs. 2.1.3 To facilitate our Service, we request certain third party personal information from you such as your recipient's full name, physical address, email address, and phone number. We may also collect from you the recipient's sensitive financial information including their bank account and routing number. 

2.1.4 Information about your usage of the Service, including your transaction history, and how and to whom you use the Service to send or receive money. 

2.1.5 Information that we lawfully obtain from third parties, such as identity verification services, electronic database services, and credit reporting agencies. 

2.1.6 Information that we indirectly obtain from you, such as information about the hardware and software you use when accessing the Service, your IP address, the pages you access on this website, and other websites that you visit prior to accessing the Service.


3 Information Collection Methods

3.1.1Website Usage Data: With or without cookies, our Web site keeps track of usage data, such as the source address that a page request is coming from, your IP address or domain name, the date and time of the page request, the referring Web site (if any) and other parameters in the URL. We use this data to better understand Web site usage in the aggregate so that we know what areas of our Web site users prefer. 5.1.2 Third-party service providers under contract with Fable that help us with our business operations, such as transaction processing, fraud prevention, and marketing. 

5.1.3 Third-parties that we partner with to offer additional products and services, such as long-distance telephone minutes, gift cards or loyalty points, but only when you elect to participate, and/or to receive information about those additional products and services. 

5.1.4 In the event of the sale, acquisition or merger of some or all of our assets, your personal information might be a part of the transferred assets. We shall notify you in the event of such an occurrence, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information, by placing a notice on our website. 

5.1.5 Law enforcement, government officials or other third parties, but only in connection with a formal request, subpoena, court order, or similar legal procedure when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, prevent physical harm or financial loss, report suspected illegal activity, or to investigate violations of our User Agreement. 

5.1.6 You can access, modify or update your personal information submitted on our website by logging into your account and changing your preferences.


6 Data Control 

6.1.1 Customer has all the rights and control over their personal data provided to us. Customers can request us for an overview of their data by putting up a mail to us. In certain situations, they can ask us to modify, erase, or block or restrict the processing of, the personal data we hold about them, or object to waysin which we are using their personal data; and we rely on clients/customers to ensure that their personal data is complete, accurate and current. Please do inform us promptly of any changes to or inaccuracies of client’s/customer’s personal data by contacting us. 

6.1.2 Where we are using personal data based on individual's consent, He/she is entitled to withdraw that consent at any time subject to applicable law. Moreover, where we process personal data based on legitimate interest or the public interest, individuals have the right to object at any time to that use of personal data subject to applicable law. We would also be required to notify our clients/customers, without undue delay, after first becoming aware of a data breach. In addition to this we will provide clients/customers to hold and process the data necessary for completion of its duties (data minimization), as well as limiting the access of personal data to those needing to act out the processing. If Clients/Customers wish to object to the processing of your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest and no opt-out mechanism is available, please contact us.




Usage of Data

  • You might have to provide us with your personal information or identification for the opening, verification or continuation of your or your organization's accounts and our services related to that account as per the business dealing between both parties.

  • If the above stated personal information or identification is not provided, it may result in the discontinuation of your account and services related to it.

  • Your personal data might also be used to contact you for offering other business related products and services.

  • Third-parties might get your personal data from us in case of;

  2. Customizing our products and services to your requirements.

Transfer of Data

Content Removal

Fable Fintech reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor the user content you post on any of Fable Fintech’s websites.


We reserve the right to remove any such information or material for any reason or no reason, including without limitation if in our sole opinion such information or material violates, or may violate, any law, our Privacy Policy, or to protect or defend our rights or property or those of any third party.

Data Retention

Following termination or deactivation of any of Fable Fintech’s website accounts, Fable Fintech may retain your profile information and user content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, or audit purposes.
